FEATURES:
Added splash damage
Added PHD's anti splash damage functionality
Adjusted gravity and character movement and inertia settings for a more responsive and fluid feel.
Mid-air control and acceleration has been greatly increased
Zombies now have death animations rather than just flopping to the ground awkwardly
Added bullet penetration. Some guns have better penetration that others, IE a pistol might only be able to shoot through 2 zombies but a sniper can penetrate a much larger amount. Damage is reduced by 40% for each zombie it passes through. (60% for shotguns)
Zombies were completely retextured and look far better and not as metallic, the trinkets and blood on the zombie now reflect light and the normal mappings were updated as they were incorrectly set before. (green channel was not flipped which resulted in an inverted normal mapping.)
TLDR: The zombies look better and don't awkwardly stand out anymore.
Large code overhaul for shooting weapons, its more efficient and adds burst firing and full auto shotguns.
Completely overhauled voiceline code to avoid multiple playing at the same time, this will also add new voicelines and make adding new characters MUCH easier.
I switched from just spawning 2d sounds and checking if one was already playing to making a data table for each character and their voicelines. This is much more efficient and again, makes adding new characters 1000x easier.
Pack A Punched Spas is now a full auto shotgun.
Added the Haymaker 12 from Black Ops 3. This is very fucking overpowered, have fun lmao
Ray gun now uses Black ops 3 animations and model, however the reload animation is sped up to be the same as the old ray gun.
Overhauled sound system, every sound has a ton more variables that go into how they sound. You'll notice this one instantly and it affects everything.
Kino and Nacht lighting change yet again, because I suddenly stopped liking them, they should look nicer, more natural and run better.
Added an option for toggle sprint
Knife gives 130 points now
FIXES:
Fixed visual bugs with drinking perks
Readjusted some ray gun texturing
Fixed zombies not playing death sounds
Dead zombies no longer affect navigation of other zombies (ie zombies will not get stuck trying to get past a zombie that's already dead or in a dying animation)
FINALLY fixed the sensitivity being defaulted to 0, and I truly mean it this time
Fixed resolution and display mode not working and being defaulted to nothing
